Passionate about Renewables and Energy transition. Spent all my career within big multinational companies in Italy, France and Dubai. After many years spent in Controlling/FP&A (Business control, Financial controlling) for various activities and at different level of the organization, it was time to tackle a new challenge and to boost my experience within Finance function. Currently located in Dubai, managing the Treasury for ENGIE in GCC and also Head ofCorporate Finance for GCC, Africa, India & SEA.
Covering GCC, Africa, India & Pakistan with following main responsibilities : - Manage corporate financing; - Manage relationship with financial institutions; - Manage financial vehicles and central entities; - Manage the Structuring and implementation of the financing and the shareholding of subsidiaries and investments; - Manage the issuance of guarantees (bank and corporate); - Monitor the compliance with finance covenants of projects, affiliates and subsidiaries; - Monitor the dividend payments from projects, affiliates and subsidiaries, and ensure appropriate FX hedging.
Finance Business Partner for regional assets, CEOs and CFOs in the covered perimeter, with specific focus on : - Coordination for finance matters for Renewables AMEA Perimeter (Africa, India, APAC) in collaboration with Global FBP Renewables - Monitoring, challenge and drive business activities and financial results - Steer and challenge monthly closing and Budget-Medium Term Plan processes - Be a business partner of the BD process by participating proactively in BD project reviews to check and challenge assumptions, SHA, financial projections of main KFIs - Challenge, inquire and consolidate Best estimate, KFI forecasting, R&O - Support and contribute for specific exercises like impairment testing, Early Warning report, Representation letters - Support and contribute to financial and risk management (injection, hedging and treasury) decisions in coordination with ENGIE Corporate Finance
Senior Business Controller Manager at ENGIE AMEA responsible for the day to day follow-up, monthly closing and budget process for the following activities : - India business (BD activity, Wind and Solar) - Business Development for all the Region - Construction for all the Region (Thermal Generation, IWPP, Wind and Solar) - G&A (follow-up of the costs evolution, monitoring of performance efforts, reporting and search of improvement levers) - HQ costs (follow-up of the costs evolution, monitoring of performance efforts, reporting and search of improvement levers)
- Management, together with India CFO, of a team of around 20 finance resources - Assist India CFO in critical aspects asset related projects follow-up (financing, construction progress, litigations, reporting...) as well as ERP implementation - Bring financial and controlling expertise to the Indian entities - Improve maturity of India finance community on finance, controlling and Group requirements
