I excel at bringing complex technology projects to fruition, connecting the dotsacross a global network, and leading teams in both line and matrix. I have a persistent focus on optimizing processes, improving data quality, and aligning stakeholders to deliver significant value to both Roche and our patients. Efficient scaling, seamless tech transfers and robust processes in commercial all are directly contributing to our Pharma Vision; this needs constant balancing opportunities to enhance and improve bioprocessing in the DS Network vs. keeping what works best and most robust. This includes: Pioneering novel technologies to enhance real-time process control and seamlessly transfer operations across different scales and systems, from lab-scale to large-scale GMP manufacturing. Influencing and implementing global standards for real-time monitoring and risk mitigation, harmonizing critical processes and reducing reliance on manual measurements across global sites. Optimizing control strategies for commercial bioprocessing to ensure product integrity and consistency, driving enhanced data quality and reduced process variability within highly regulated GMP environments.
The role includes technology roadmapping, steering innovative process technologies and digital strategies from their conceptual beginnings to full-scale deployment in GMP-compliant drug substance manufacturing settings, both locally and internationally. Furthermore, the role focusses also on enhancing process robustness, particularly in upstream processing for drug substance production. As the leader of the Process Technology Group within the MSAT Process Science Department at Pharma Technical Operations in Penzberg, I am committed to driving excellence and innovation in our field.
