My primary focus was to trade the cash markets in ERCOT and PJM, CAISO and NEISO. I traded based on fundamentals and algorithmic signals, where I maintained my own book. Besides trading, I provided support for other traders by developing analytical dashboards. Additionally, I helped develop a generalized infrastructure around git control and standardization of new projects, which is now the workflow everybody has adapted to.
Most of my work was done by using Excel and VBA, where the projects was to either maintain/fix problems in existing tools, and develop a new setup. Through these projects I got to work closely with the traders, where my role were to develop and come up with best possible solutions, such that the tools fit their needs. Other projects consisted of working as coordinator for events within the department, or working as a researcher. This meant working closely with the traders and the IT-department.
Acted as a coach and leader for the interviewers on the night shift. In addition to this, I were in close dialog with the consultants to gain insight into projects such that I could convey the content clearly for the interviewers. I setup some statistical tools running on Excel and VBA .
Worked as an interviewer where I got to work on different projects, and doing pilot testing for upcoming projects.
