Hi my name is Christian, I live in Thisted, where I proudly work as an IT/Digitalization Manager. Since i finished my Master of Science (MSc) in lnformation Technology. I have especially focused my commitment towards Data Processes Optimization, Digitalization and IT- Management. As a person, I am a very ambitious, but down-to-earth guy who work very analytically and structured with both small and large tasks. I’m very reflective and like to challenge status quo. I am also good at overseeing large complexity and I love to plan and follow up on my plans as projects and tasks progress. In my experience, many projects fails because of misunderstandings and lack of communication, and I therefore always strive to be both precise and fulfilling in my own communication and to take into account who the receivers are, and what they are interested in knowing. Technology wise I am a quick learner and good at overlooking and analyzing large data quantities. I have a good understanding of data-management and especially like to work with optimization business and data processes/flows.       In my current job I am responsible for the IT- and Project department of EUC Nordvest (a K-12/VET School). This also includes responsiblity of the network-infrastructure of 4 partnerschools. Approx: 2500 studens and 350 employees daily users in total. I have a good team of 6-7employees to help me out. Together we ensures our IT-infratructuee runs smoothly and provide IT-support to both colleagues and studens. We also ensure our school stays relevant and in front with new development. A few example of projects i have helped implement are: A new LMS system, 10 Augmented Reality welding machines, Power BI reporting, RPA, 12 ship-radio simulators and more. The school have 10 physical locations and more than 28 different education offers so I also use a lot of time coordinating and aligning (best practise) digital workmethods are across eplyees and departments.

    At Premier Is/hjem Is I worked as project manager running various digital projects. I help manage and follow up on a large Route To Market project, involving the whole commercial side of the company - from marketing to sales and logistics process. Sub-projects involved finding a suitable CRM system, Large system integration projects and also helped with finding a better route planning tool. Beside that I also helped with various data controlling tasks and with building, develop, support/train users and advanced user, in our new PowerBI platform and -reports.

My department and I also played a major role in a large ERP system rollout, where we were responsible for the data conversion of all item and vendor data from the old system into the new.     At Bach Composite Industry I worked as the Project Manager for a large Master Data project. I helped starting up the project, playing a major role in defining the scope of the project and doing the actual execution and follow up. This included a lot of process- and data analysis and doing a lot of cooperative task in order to improve and get global control over both data and data-related processes. As part of the project structure, I set up a team of five global “change agents/data steward’s” who, 12 hours a week, helped with implementing the MD processes and cleaning up our ERP data. Besides the project, I was responsible for Global Management KPI reporting and for setting up a new Data warehouse and BI reporting.
