Responsible for all day to day operations at our 3rd generation family business. We operate a fleet of 40+ vehicles between our two companies (Rochester City Lines, serving Rochester and SE MN, and Richfield Bus Company serving the Twin Cities metro area) serving groups from small to very large with safe, friendly, and dependable transportation. Experience in DOT and FMCSA regulations, small business, transportation and budget development.
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of all Rochester City Lines commuter routes. Work with city officials and businesses to develop, implement and promote regional commuter service programs and employee shuttles. Develop regular reports on ridership, bus passes and other service elements.
Work with RCL management and maintenance staff to schedule drivers and equipment for afternoon line run and charter bus service. Handle operational situations as they arise. Provide first-rate customer service via phone and email.
Sell cars, take vehicle inventory, prepare cars for sale, run errands, answer the phone, etc.
Select and purchase music for sale, manage inventory. Given the small size and nature of the store, this was largely a part-time job.
Volunteer coordinator and vendor relations with the Thursdays on First & 3rd summer downtown community festival.
Fed, watered and gave general care to 25 horses. Also cleaned indoor stalls and cared for the grounds of the property, including lawn mowing, manure management, fence upkeep and general facility appearance.
