Leading the Finance functions in all commercial EU entities: • Actively supporting of and partnering with the Commercial President Europe and other members of European Leadership team • FPM throughout the region, ensuring long term planning, forecast accuracy, P/L and B/S management and dividend planning for Region and entities • Representation of ConvaTec to outside stakeholders • Participation in transformation initiatives. • Conducting M&A including Due Diligence, integration of targets • Ensuring adherence to Group Risk Management procedure and compliance.
Corporate restructuring of a distressed Start-Up • Hard turnaround after loss of business assets in China • Capital restructuring through debt and equity financing • Development and implementation of new business model • Management of client and business partner relationships for market access consulting in China
Finance and IM Leadership • Define and implement financial strategy with both shareholders • Business Partnering to Marketing, Sales and scientific functions at headquarter and country levels. • Preparation and financing of product related investment (development, clinical studies, launch preparation). • Implementation and oversight of financial controls and compliance management process. Oversight of internally managed ERP system (SAP) and its functional and technical migrations. • Significant organizational responsibilities with 5 direct reports, total of 60+ staff in direct hierarchy and 50+ in dotted line reporting in over 10 countries
