I joined Debevoise in 2017 after clerking for Hon. Loretta A. Preska, formerly Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. From 2019 to 2020, I clerked for Hon. Michael H. Park of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. My practice focuses on commercial litigation and white-collar and regulatory defense. Representative matters include the representation of: - Winged Foot Golf Club, along with certain present and former members of the Board of Directors of the Winged Foot Holding Corporation, in shareholder derivative and securities class action lawsuits pending in the Southern District of New York. - The Board of Directors of CBS Corporation in an investigation of sexual harassment allegations against the CEO, senior CBS News personnel, as well as allegations about the corporate culture. - A leading national bank in an investigation by the DOJ, state authorities and various banking regulators relating to AML compliance. I received a J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2016, where I received Dean’s Scholar Prizes in the Government Lawyer and Poverty Law courses, and was a member of Harvard Defenders, a legal service organization providing representation to low-income criminal defendants. During law school, I served as an intern in the Securities and Commodities Fraud Task Force of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York as well as the Enforcement Division of the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, DC. I am a member of the New York and New Jersey bars, am admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and am a member of the Federal Bar Council Inn Of Court.
