Worked within the W-1 B61: Systems Engineering Group supporting structural analysis, finite element modeling, vibration analysis, and systems engineering activities for classified engineering projects. • Developed analytical MATLAB models to evaluate the vibration response of aircraft wing structures, including natural frequencies, mode shapes, and harmonic response. • Built finite element models using ANSYS Mechanical, Workbench, SpaceClaim, and Discovery to evaluate structural vibration behavior and compare finite element results with analytical models. • Validated analytical MATLAB models through comparison with finite element analyses, demonstrating close agreement between analytical and numerical solutions. • Applied Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles using CAMEO Systems Modeler and completed MBSE training through LANL and Caltech. • Assisted with Photonic Doppler Velocimetry (PDV) testing and engineering data analysis. • Presented technical analyses and project results to engineering staff within the W-1 B61: Systems Engineering Group. • Optimized engineering spreadsheets and data-management workflows using Microsoft Excel. • Supported classified engineering projects requiring an active DOE Q Clearance.
Teaching Assistant – Mechanics of Materials (Strength of Materials) • Assisted in instruction for undergraduate Mechanics of Materials courses by leading weekly discussion sessions focused on reinforcing lecture concepts and solving engineering problems. • Held regular office hours to support students with homework, exam preparation, and fundamental concepts in mechanics of materials. • Graded homework assignments and examinations, providing timely and constructive feedback. • Proctored examinations while maintaining academic integrity and assisting faculty with course administration. • Worked closely with course instructors to support student learning and improve overall classroom engagement.
