Christiaan is a Director and Family Office Specialist in the Family Office Solutions team within Ultra-High Net Worth (UHNW) Advisory, a team established to serve families and family offices of significant wealth. Christiaan has been advising UHNW clients and their family offices, their businesses, and charitable foundations for over 16 years. He has worked 5 years in investment banking, 11 years in private wealth management, and throughout his career he has respectively advised on over $10 billion of corporate transaction value, and on over $40 billion of client assets. Christiaan joined UBS in 2015, and he has worked since then in Amsterdam, Milan, Paris, Zurich, and New York. Publications Christiaan was a contributor to the UBS Global Family Office Report in 2023 and 2024, one of UBS’s most-read publications with insights from 320 institutional single family offices, ranging from asset allocation, portfolio diversification, and alternative investments, to family office professionalization, costs, risks, staffing, structure, and governance. Education Christiaan holds a dual Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Economics from the Erasmus University Rotterdam, as well as executive degrees in Leadership and Organizational Agility from Harvard University, his Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, and banking licenses in 15 European jurisdictions.
