My career has been a journey from hands-on software development to leading the teams that build the critical data infrastructure businesses rely on. Having designed and built applications across a wide array of industries—from high-stakes securities trading to intricate home automation systems—I developed a deep appreciation for the foundation upon which they're built: the data platform. Today, as the Manager of the Data Platforms team, I channel that experience into ensuring our data systems are robust, scalable, and secure. My team and I are the stewards of our company's data ecosystem, managing a complex hybrid environment of cloud and on-prem resources. My team oversees key AWS services like RDS, EC2, and S3, which host our critical MSSQL and Postgres databases. I believe that the best data platforms are built with an understanding of the applications they serve. I thrive on collaborating with and mentoring talented engineers, and I'm passionate about working with great people on great ideas. For me, the fun is always in the challenge.
