    I study the impact of age and biological age on brain repair in the Cambridge Clinical Multiple Sclerosis Research Group headed by Prof Alasdair Coles. I am PI for for the "Ageing in MS" theme, where we assess how biological ageing relates to remyelination, axonal health and clinical outcomes. I serve as a co-investigator on the CCMR Two trial, an exciting endeavour that evaluates the effectiveness of metformin, a promising gerotherapeutic drug, in combination with clemastine for promoting remyelination in individuals living with multiple sclerosis (NCT05131828).
