But that's only a fraction of what recruiting is. It's deep sourcing dives through hundreds of LinkedIn profiles to find candidates with the perfect skillset. It's countless conversations discovering what drives people and how they can make an impact. It's describing your company—its values, culture, and people. It's walking candidates through every step of the process and partnering with hiring managers to understand exactly what they need. Ultimately, it's about creating relationships and connecting people, which is something I love to do. This is what drives me in my work. I began my career in agency recruiting before moving in-house, where I honed my skills finding and connecting with top-performing professionals in Product, G&A, and GTM (Sales) functions at OpenTable and LiveRamp. For the past several years, I've followed my passion for sustainable transportation to lead the recruiting function at Alta Planning + Design, a nationally recognized leader in multimodal and active transportation consulting.
