Chris' leadership journey has been underpinned by his passion for improving equity, diversity and inclusion outcomes, leadership development as well as helping to shape and influence the future of work, particular through the perspective of small business. In his extensive executive career, Chris served on both global and national sub-committees relating to the above areas while holding a variety of executive leadership roles in Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia over 20+ years. In 2023, Chris founded Talent Horizon to provide a range of advisory services to customers who are invested in developing their most important asset - their people. The business offers both consulting and advisory board services to a range of clients. Chris has also founded a coaching business, Profit Acceleration Partners, to help small business owners sustainably grow their revenue and profits and achieve their dreams. Utilising an internationally proven software platform to help maximise their business potential. Prior to this, Chris was responsible for all Western Australian operations for Hays, a multinational listed recruitment company. In this role he oversaw service delivery for up to 1000 companies across the public, private and not for profit sectors. This included the oversight of a contingent workforce of 2000+ contractors and 130+ internal staff across multiple offices. Concurrently, Chris was the ANZ Director for a number of Hays' specialist service lines which involved the strategic oversight for talent and client acquisition, key account leadership and public relations. In 2021, Chris was also appointed the inaugural Chair of "Hays Helps" in Australia & New Zealand. In this role he was tasked with the governance of the global strategy and implementation of Hays' charitable partnerships and corporate volunteering initiatives. Hays PLC is FTSE listed and employs more than 8000 staff operating in 33 countries. Chris has also served as a Non-Executive Director on several Boards in disability, education and community leadership as well as a number of external reference groups and steering committees. He currently sits on the board of the WA Government's Disability Services Commission.

Talent Horizon started as the parent company of Profit Acceleration Partners which was founded to provide a variety of bespoke business advisory services for companies looking to get the most out of their greatest asset - their people. In 2025, the professional services were carved out into our sister company, Profit Acceleration Partners Pty Ltd and Talent Horizon Track was formally launched. Our vision is to support an emerging squad of para-athletes who are looking to fulfill their potential. From PB's to Paralympics, everybody is welcome. Our founder, Chris Kent is an Athletics Australia Gold Certified Coach with a degree in sport science and provides ongoing track and road coaching, equipment support and high performance programs for all ages for wheels based events such as wheelchair racing and frame running.
