Chris is also the named inventor on two United States patents pertaining to application and internet performance and diagnostics. Since 1992 Chris’ career has been mostly focused on the design, implementation, and deployment of applications targeting the highly demanding areas of both Enterprise-scale and Internet-based applications. Chris has successfully managed the full life-cycle development of these projects resulting in products currently deployed throughout the world. Starting in 2001 Chris’ skill set was recognized as being invaluable in the area of Technical Due Diligence. Since then Chris has been a key contributor for various organizations who have utilized his skills at managing and delivering Technology Due Diligence and Risk Management services. Chris publicly launched the consulting company Netbytes®, Inc. in 1996. Since that time Chris has built a premiere services organization focused on helping organizations quickly solve problems utilizing the most efficient and cost-effective solutions.       Chris led the Distributed Products team in the creation of Enterprise-class computer systems performance monitoring. This development unit created software which collected performance metrics from mini and micro computers. This data was then consolidated to a central management interface. Thousands of systems could be monitored in near-real time (<1 minute). Companies ranging from mid-sized to huge international organizations used this product in their Network Operation Centers (NOC's) to monitor system performance and quickly react to, and resolve, problems as they would arise.

      Chris led the Distributed Products Agent Development team in the creation of agents designed to monitor disparate computer systems. (e.g. Microsoft® Windows NT™, AS/400, and most variants of Linux) This development team also created software which tracked application performance. During this time Chris was instrumental in the creation of a patented technology which would allow the tracking of web-based performance from the perspective of the user "in the wild". Chris also remained actively involved in the Application Response Measurement (ARM) working group. (ARM was a coalition of industry technology companies interested in creating an API standard for the measurement of application performance.) Chris continued extensive travel around the world promoting and evangelizing the Landmark Systems solutions.

      As Development Manager Chris was responsible for all development targeting the Microsoft® Windows™ platforms. This included both agent and UI development. During this period Chris also joined,and was actively involved in the Application Response Measurement (ARM) working group. (ARM was a coalition of industry technology companies interested in creating an API standard for the measurement of application performance.) Chris' efforts led to Landmark Systems becoming the first Microsoft® BackOffice™ certified performance monitoring solution. This was accomplished by working directly with Microsoft® both remotely and in-person at the Microsoft® campus in Redmond, WA. Chris also traveled extensively to both current and prospective customers to help both Systems Engineers and Marketing fully understand the real needs of the customers.
