With a background in international law, arbitration, and regulatory compliance, I specialize in helping businesses manage risk, resolve high-stakes disputes, and achieve strategic outcomes. As Senior Counsel, Litigation at Baker Hughes, I have led global dispute resolution efforts—recovering significant amounts through litigation, arbitration, and mediation while mitigating legal and operational expenses. I have advised senior leadership and commercial teams on cross-border risks and represented cases before leading international arbitration institutions, including ICC, LCIA, SIAC, HKIAC, and ICDR. Beyond my corporate role, I am deeply engaged in the legal and arbitration community. I co-lead Baker Hughes' Claims and Disputes Practice Group, mentor emerging legal talent, and contribute to thought leadership through publications, speaking engagements, and industry initiatives. I have spoken at ICCA, IBA, ICC, and ABA conferences, covering AI in disputes, diversity in arbitration, and best practices for in-house counsel. I am also the founder and host of "Tales of the Tribunal", a podcast that explores key issues in international dispute resolution. As a founding member of Racial Equality for Arbitration Lawyers (REAL), I advocate for greater diversity and inclusion in the field. • Secured settlements before arbitral tribunals appointed under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce, LCIA, ICDR and other institutions. • Managed the use of external counsel in order to proactively and strategically address potential and current disputes. • Analyzed and organized internal information on multi-million dollar projects to assist personnel with securing favorable negotiation terms and mitigating potential risks. • Drafted, reviewed and negotiated various documents including: Sales Agreements, Notices of Arbitration, Intellectual Property and Licensing Agreements, Settlement Agreements, Witness Statements/Affidavits, Service and Supply Agreements, and Legal Memoranda/Advisories for external and internal use.

Represented clients on a variety of matters and served as the firm’s resident expert on international law, arbitration, trade and Chinese law. • Negotiated settlements on a multi-party project saving the client over $1.5 million in litigation expenses and legal exposure. • Conducted due diligence and assisted clients with legal compliance for large-scale acquisitions of land and high-value equipment. • Represented governmental entities in matters pursuant to the S.C. Eminent Domain Procedure Act. • Created educational materials for clients on GDPR compliance and topics regarding international law.

• Developed content for use by Thomson Reuters’ Practical Law Platform, designed to evaluate Chinese lawyers knowledge of international mergers & acquisitions. • Created an internal database to monitor Chinese outbound investment around the world over the last 15 years. • Conducted and analyzed research on Chinese outbound investment for use by the China Going Global Think Tank (CGGT). • Reviewed and edited various documents for other in-office colleagues for distribution to clients.
