Co-founder of Good Counsel, Inc., a non-profit helping homeless pregnant and parenting mothers and babies with six residential homes, national 24/7 helpline, outreach and follow-up services and much more. Single mothers advance educationally and vocationally while spending a year at Good Counsel. Helping other similar homes open throughout the U.S. A speaker at dinners, banquets, conventions on a wide variety of moral hot-button issues surrounding pregnancy, abortion, sex, and addictions. Also offering motivationally positive talks for youth and young adults in high schools and colleges at dozens of locations in rural and inner-city venues. With a national helpline, houses, Life Skills programs, after-care support and much more, Good Counsel offers safety, security and opportunities to return to school, begin vocational training and start careers for young mothers. Baby sitting in Good Counsel homes affords new mothers the opportunities to begin such productive endeavors. Children are evaluated and given great care before and after birth. Some mothers have older children who are able to return to school too. Tremendous possibilities open up at Good Counsel offering great hope for the future of each mother and child thanks to professionally trained staff and dedicated volunteers.

KA, founded in 1984 by The People of Hope, a charismatic, covenant community, always had Christian Character formation as the key linked to a strong academic foundation. Newly developed sports programs are rounding out the education of mind, body and spirit.
