Major achievements - Acquisition of 40% interests in an aircraft leasing platform - Goshawk for US$160 million. - Develop and manage a portfolio of 220+ aircraft (US$10 billion) on lease with 60+ airlines in 30+ countries. - Direct order negotiations with Airbus and Boeing to purchase 20x A320neo & 20x 737MAX aircraft for US$4 billion (listed price). Roles & responsibilities - Participated in the acquisition of Goshawk, including due-diligence, negotiation of SPA and compliance with the listing rules. - Involved in the set-up of the senior management team in Ireland and coordinated with them on the business strategy, financial and operational management. - Conducted analysis and evaluation on aircraft acquisitions, disposals, re-leasing, lease restructuring, financing and M&A initiatives. - Worked with the management team in developing the financing strategy and successfully raised over US$5 billion diversified debts for the business from 100+ financiers worldwide. - Coordinated with the management team on the daily operations such as accounting & treasury arrangements, portfolio management, valuation of aircraft, credit analysis of the lessees, utilization and maintenance exposure of the aircraft, and legal and corporate matters. - Studied and explored different tax structures such as Singapore, Tianjin, Hong Kong to achieve better tax efficiency for the platform and lobbied with HKSAR government (e.g. FSTB, THB, Invest HK) for policy support to HK aircraft leasing business.
Major achievements: - Acquisition of 10% shares in Beijing Capital International Airport (694.HK) for HK$2.4 billions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Involved in the business feasibility study, share purchase, negotiation and completion, including due-diligence and negotiation of SPA, of the HK listed BCIA to become the 2nd largest shareholder of the listed company. - Worked with Chinese partner, management team and CAAC on the strategic direction and long-term development of the company. - Initiated a feasibility study and analysis leading to a revamp of the airport’s non-aeronautical businesses (F&B, advertising, retail) to enhance the non-aeronautical revenue.
Major achievements: - Won the government land bid and developed a modern logistics center with 920,000 sqft. leasable area. - Leased out the whole building to a single tenant for 5 years. Roles & Responsibilities: - Conducted market analysis, financial modeling and sensitivity analysis to formulate a successful land bidding strategy. - Supervised a team of architects, consultants and contractors as the landlord representative on the building design and specifications, to meet with user requirements and control construction costs and time within budget. - Liaised with a single tenant for the lease contract matters as the landlord representative and successfully renewed lease contract upon expiry. - Worked with the building service contractors to managed day-to-day operations of the building.
