Chris has proudly built a 19-year career at Walgreens, one of the nation’s largest drugstore chains and part of the Retail Pharmacy USA Division of Walgreens Boots Alliance. He has proven management strengths in creating a differentiated customer experience, building team member engagement, training and developing cohesive leadership and store teams, and realizing solid financial performance through operational and customer care excellence. Chris is graduate of The Ohio State University with degrees in Finance and Financial Management services, a management professional driven to exceed standard expectations, and a leader able to manage all aspects of pharmacy and store operations.
As project manager, Chris has full responsibility for hiring and managing a specialized team with exceptional store operations and pharmacy operations knowledge to aid the more than 1100 Rite Aid locations converting to fully-branded Walgreens locations in more than 16 states across the country. In addition to accepting inbound calls for immediate problem solving, Chris and team identify operational gaps and provide proactive support and training to the newest Walgreens teams.
Chris led teams of 40+ store and pharmacy employees in 24-hour, multi-ethnic, urban Dallas store locations recognized for exceeding all standards of operations. As a driven leader, he was tasked with recruiting and training new management personnel and mentoring newly-promoted Store Manager peers. Throughout, Chris remained focused on optimizing omnichannel retailing for long-term, sustainable success for WBA, as seen through his authentic leadership, customer-first priority setting, and patient-care focused service standards.
