As Vice President of The Glass Network, a networking and support group for LGBT+ Scottish legal professionals, and their allies, I played a key role in developing and maintaining our organisation's strategy in accordance with our mission aims in to increase visible support of LGBT+ equality in the Scottish Legal profession and develop a better understanding of the relevant issues among our straight and cis-gendered colleagues. In 2017, our organisation, in conjunction with the Law Society of Scotland, produced and rolled out a very successful YouTube campaign, featuring well known members of the Scottish legal profession, including First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon, as an innovative solution to combatting the perceived difficulty in supporting people's inherently invisible sexual orientation. I am proud that The Glass Network won CSR Award at the Law Awards of Scotland 2017.
