About

I'm always looking to bring my passion for game development, production skills, and eagerness to learn together to make something great. Throughout my journeys into game development, I've served in a number of roles (programmer, level designer, audio technician...) but my priorities always are rooted in production and operations. Whether I'm running an independent studio, planning large scale events, or pioneering a mentoring program for game development students, it's always my goal to make healthy progress and facilitate effective communication. Two of my absolute favorite things are working with others towards a goal, and helping other people to be successful - and it's my own goal to take my skills forward and continue applying them to the world game development, and the various worlds beyond.

  • GSAS Mentoring Program Director/Founder at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute - School of HASS
    Apr 2021 - May 2023 · 2 yrs 2 mos

I pitched, planned, created, and am currently running an official mentoring program for GSAS (game design) students. Recruited and trained mentors for various classes; and worked with a broad range of faculty members to make the program successful. GSAS mentors provide feedback and guidance to students in classes, but they also encourage students to attend social events and make use of RPI’s resources. I also served as a mentor for Intro To Game Design, working as a positive academic and social role model. Professors throughout the GSAS curriculum came to me after the first semester we ran the program, asking if I could recruit and train mentors for their classes - and now the program is thriving!
