• Administer and support enterprise environments consisting of 10,000+ physical and virtual Linux/VMware, AIX, and Solaris environments. • Automate patching, vulnerability remediation, and other lifecycle management initiatives for large-scale infrastructure environments using Ansible, Python, Bash, and GoCD pipelines. • Manage AWS resources, including S3 storage, also supporting Git/Bitbucket repositories used in release and patch management workflows. • Collaborate remotely with globally distributed engineering and operations teams to design and implement scalable automation solutions. • Utilize Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and ServiceNow to manage projects, documentation, change control, and operational workflows. • Create monitoring, alerting, and reporting solutions using Sumo Logic to proactively identify and resolve system issues. • Design and implement automated threat detection and notification workflows leveraging SentinelOne. • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on reliability, operational efficiency, and automation maturity.
Led administration and support of enterprise Linux and Unix infrastructure, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), SUSE Linux, AIX, and Solaris environments. Managed SAN and NAS environments utilizing Brocade switching infrastructure and enterprise storage platforms from Hitachi, EMC, NetApp, and Pillar. Designed, deployed, and supported the company’s initial infrastructure environment in Bangalore, India. Supported critical enterprise applications including Oracle, MySQL, WebSphere, TeamSite, Oracle Application Server, Apache, and WebLogic. Developed and maintained standardized Linux images for field engineering and deployment teams. Managed enterprise backup and recovery operations using NetBackup and Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM). Implemented configuration management and system standardization using Puppet. Provided technical leadership, mentoring, and operational guidance for engineering teams.
