Chris leads the Birmingham Lease Advisory team at Avison Young and possesses 28 years experience within the commercial property sector. Chris joined the GVA Lease Consultancy team in August 2008 and has particular experience negotiating commercial rent reviews, lease renewals, asset management and lease re-structures for commercial occupiers and landlords. He has broad and multi-disciplined experience, focusing on lease advisory, with particular experience in the logistics and offices sectors. This has enabled Chris to act as national client contact for a number clients giving strategic real estate advice identifying opportunities to review, dispose, re-gear leasehold interests. Chris is commercially astute and acts for an impressive and varied client base, including Aberdeen Standard, Clearbell, Blackrock, Technocargo, Vaillant, Royal Mail, Coventry University, Coventry Building Society, Travis Perkins, Birmingham Airport, DLA Piper and Element Materials Technology. Chris has a particular focus on the industrial/logistics sector, together with city centre and out of town business park office properties. Chris is a member of the RICS Presidents panel as an Arbitrator for the Midlands region for office and industrial properties.
