I am a retired business executive that continues to use my skills to add value where needed in my community.
I work with organizations to identify projects that are good investments for donors. I coach non-profit organization leaders on strategic planning, project development and communications. I speak publically on leadership and non-profit and for-profit business related subjects.
As President and CEO of the Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity, I grew the organization by 6 times in size in 8.5 years of operation. The agency won multiple national awards and was ranked in the top 1% of 1,600 Habitat affiliates worldwide. During my years at NAHFH 486 homes were built or reconstructed and over 1,600 family members earned the opportunity to purchase a home of their own thanks to the efforts of over 120,000 volunteers and donors.
I directed all administrative functions including accounting, finance, human resources, and computer information systems.
