Chris Lutes has twenty years of experience managing technology evaluations, remediation projects, treatability studies, pollutant fate and transport studies, water & wastewater studies and air emissions characterizations for ARCADIS. His responsibilities include technical direction, project management, report writing, technical editing, litigation support, and experimental design. Mr. Lutes has authored more than 100 peer reviewed literature articles, U.S. EPA reports, guidance documents and conference papers in a wide variety of fields including remediation technology, environmental fate & transport and combustion byproducts (primarily from open burning). He has extensive experiencing in managing government contracts and task orders . His project and program management experience encompasses cost plus fixed fee, time and materials and fixed price government work as well as commercial projects of all types. His unusual breadth within the environmental sciences allows him to effectively incorporate interdisciplinary insights into projects to meet client objectives. His areas of particular expertise include pollutant fate and transport, vapor intrusion, in-situ remediation and halogenated organic compounds.
