About

There is always a problem that feels too hard to solve, at least to some people. For me I feel complete when I'm working on these problems. Whether it's my daughter and wife calling me for help with a broken sewing machine, or in my career, I can't help but dig in and figure out the inner workings of a system to get it working the way it was meant to be. I am an experienced operations and infrastructure engineer who prides myself on analytical thinking and delivery results. I have had the opportunity to work with one of the largest corporations for the last ten years in a fast paced and changing technical landscape delivering and supporting x86 platforms at an enterprise scale. I accomplish this with my background in technology with a BS in Computer Science, and by collaborating with vendors and peers. I don't like to live in a bubble, so I strive to maintain connections and working relationships with business partners, stakeholders, and my team. I also like to keep myself apprised of new industry trends by taking certified classes in my technology space. For the numbers, I help manage more than 6000 Cisco UCS servers, over 4000 Dell servers, the Hypervisor OS that sits on those servers including ESXi, Openshift, Windows, and Linux and the virtual machines that are provisioned to that private cloud. This seems like a lot, and it is, so I've leveraged Python, Powershell and REST API's of these technologies to manage and report on all of this. I've also received top-tier business acumen training from one of the leading development programs in the healthcare industry, TECDP. Graduating this program gave me insights into different stakeholders in an enterprise environment and how my role played into the larger picture. I got to meet with executive leadership and gain insights into the industry that not many others get to have. If this sounds as interesting to you as it does to me, feel free to connect here or through my personal email: [email protected]. I look forward to making connections and broadening my professional relationships.
