I am an experienced performance, learning, and organizational development consultant - working across various sectors to support the performance and development of individuals, teams and organizations. As a HCPC-registered and BPS-chartered psychologist, I have obtained international experience working across healthcare, business, professional sport, and academia. This has led me to my current role working as an Organizational and Change Leadership Consultant, where I am involved in several leadership development, change management, and employee engagement initiatives. For my consultancy, pedagogical, research activity: - I provide consultancy to individuals, teams and organizations to enhance performance, support wellbeing, and drive development. - I research the effects of support and culture on team and organizational performance. - I teach psychology, performance coaching, organizational development, and research methods to undergraduate and postgraduate students. I also supervise trainee psychologists.
Some of my responsibilities include working as a Programme Director, Subject Chief Examiner, Personal Tutor, Module Co-ordinator, and Senior Teaching Colleague. I have also won student-voted awards for my teaching activities.
I am currently working as a half module co-ordinator, teaching assistant, and seminar leader on a range of 2nd to 4th year undergraduate sport studies and sport exercise modules. The modules cover a variety of topics, such as introductory sport psychology, social psychology, and critical analyses.
I am currently volunteering as a ethical panel member of COSCA, Scotland's governing organisation for counselling and psychotherapy in Scotland. The ethical panel consists of a multidisciplinary team of health professionals and meets quarterly to uphold ethical standards and provide quality assurance to the profession.
I completed my Stage 2 Qualification in Sport & Exercise Psychology with the British Psychological Society. This was a 3 year supervised applied practice qualification which allowed me to develop as a practitioner, where I worked with a range of individuals, teams and organisations.
