Handle daily purchasing including MRO, raw materials, tooling, and other areas of the organization as needed. Create and manage daily production schedule. Coordinate incoming jobs with CSR's, work with production supervisors to move work when necessary and coordinate availability of machines and operators. Act as a backup to the Supply Chain Manager whenever he is not available.
Provide leadership of receiving department with attention to detail in a Lean Manufacturing environment. Inventory control, material distribution, receiving of incoming materials, purchasing. Daily duties include purchasing, receiving, processing customer returns, addressing inventory discrepancies, writing non-conformances for material, writing standard operating procedures, supplying production with necessary raw materials in accordance with production schedule, managing employees in the department, use shipping skills in shipping department when needed to fill in for employees.
