With over 6 years of leadership experience in the field, I have successfully led teams and projects that have enhanced the security posture of organizations, mitigated risks, and ensured compliance with regulatory standards. My career in cybersecurity began as a Chief Information Security Officer at the Illinois Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT), where I oversaw the development and implementation of comprehensive security policies and procedures. Prior to that, I served as a Deputy CISO at DoIT, where I contributed to the design and execution of security strategies and initiatives. My educational background in Electrical Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute-St. Louis has provided me with a solid foundation in technology and problem-solving skills. I am passionate about staying updated on the latest trends and best practices in cybersecurity and sharing my knowledge with others.
