Implemented successful calibration and monitoring strategies for LED test systems. Contributed to development of LED packaging and encapsulation processes. Designed electronics for an LED lifetime testing system.
Managed the compound semiconductor characterisation group, overseeing electrical, optical and structural characterisation of semiconductor materials. Spearheaded evaluation test of packaged LEDs. Led a project to design, build and test an ultraviolet LED test enclosure. Project managed microbiological validation of ultraviolet LED efficacy. Co-invented a metallization method for semiconductor devices that was awarded US patent 9,590,157.
