Social person that has worked in front of thousands of people and is talented in being quick and not making many mistakes. Alongside being social comes the skill of being approachable. I am very flexible in my hours, on top of being flexible with the task that I am being handed, as I have many different skills. I am looking for a career that pertains to my major of Economics and will develop my skills that relate to economics as I continue to further my college career.
Club for students of color that allows one another to bring perspective and individuality to help the group succeed no matter the major or minor. The group talks about adversity and empowers everyone in the group.
Barista for the coffee shop on the main college campus. Trained by full-time employees at the coffee shop and the coffee shop served Starbucks drinks. Trained to know how to use an espresso machine, brew coffee (hot, iced, and cold brew), and brew teas (hot and iced). Trained and work on the register.
Trained to run the register at a walk-in restaurant in Times Square. No set schedule, worked 30 hours a week. Shadowed the manager at times to understand the basis of running a franchise shop, dealing with packaging, food service and handling money.
Externship given to me by the manager of the company, had side by side guidance and training from head of Human Resources department for one week.
In charge of making sure the warehouse (full of expensive machinery) was clean along with toilets, sinks, windows, and the outside of the building.
