Managed numerous M&A transactions including £1.2bn MRH acquisition, group reorganisation/ simplification and group refinancing circa £1.5bn. Responsible for internal controls and reporting aspects of new accounting software implementation, as well as IFRS 16 implementation.
Oversee all aspects of group (IFRS) and statutory reporting (FRS 101/102), as well as involvement in UK divestments and M&A. Responsible for 11 statutory entities with turnover > £1bn. Main point of contact with external auditors and tax advisors. Managed transition of Finance Shared Service Centre of UK reporting team from Budapest to Bangalore.
Account owner for all balance sheet and P&L revenue accounts, group reporting, operating and accounting revenue cash flow forecasting and helping manage the transition from the old to the new Tui holiday booking system.
Responsible for the group reporting and policy for fixed assets of Tui UK&I, as well as the Capex process. This covered aircraft, cruise ships, retail shops and IT projects. Managed the change from Oracle system to the implementation of the SAP software within the fixed assets area.
