About

I'm a Technical program manager in aerospace with over 25 years of professional experience. My background spans aerospace systems, embedded software, flight controls, autonomy, HMI, systems integration, project management, and product life cycle. I've led multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-reliability systems for general aviation, and R&D programs from a clean sheet of paper to successful products and demonstrations. I have a wild history and breadth of career experience. I've been an auto mechanic, worked retail sales, worked on Programmable Logic Controllers, spent almost a decade in civil engineering, and toured the US as drummer in a folk rock band - all before getting my MS in Mechanical Engineering from UNC Charlotte (AXES UP!) and diving into aerospace. I've worked my way from an individual contributor of embedded systems algorithms development up through complex systems integrations and now lead $40MM programs. I am a life-long learner, always picking up new technologies and toys. Currently, I'm fascinated with modern software deployments - how cloud, automation, containerization, observability, and AI-enabled tooling can streamline and accelerate engineering teams. I'm deep-diving on foundational tools like Linux, Bash, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring systems such as Prometheus and Grafana. If any of that sounds interesting or compelling to you, please reach out! I'd love to have a chat!
