United Kingdom
I lead the representation and growth of Make UK (formerly known as EEF) the national employers association for manufacturing across the Midlands & East of England. As the main ambassadorial voice for manufacturing in the region and ensuring our business members gain maximum value for their membership in utilising services and trade association support. By working with stakeholder organisations such as public bodies (e.g combined authorities) and the regional media, I raise the profile and needs of industry with local and national government. I enable business leaders to share best practice, network, and learn to help drive forwards the sector towards growth. I also lead the relationship between Make UK and over 90 manufacturing sub sector specific trade bodies and regional clusters. Ensuring trade association leaders are able to benefit from our extensive lobbying and sector insight. To ensure Make UK is able to fully represent all four corners of #ukmfg with the highest levels of government and other key stakeholders.
