Trained in Fine Arts, Sculpture and Art in Public Space at RMIT University Melbourne. Industry experience includes; *Teaching at RMIT University, in the Vocational Education Sector, Sculpture and Public Art, responsible for coordinating student participation in several Art Festivals and events including the Gertrude Street Projection Festival, White Night and MoreArt *Studio Technician for the School of Art, Art in Public Space duties included advising, demonstrating and overseeing the production and execution of research projects for under graduate and post graduate students, managing and assisting internal and external exhibition installations. *Working across Faculties and Departments in collaboration with Research Groups on multi discipline projects for presentation both on and off campus. * Project management of the production and installation of new, permanent and short lived, public art commissions. Liaising between artists, commissioning bodies, specialist fabricators and essential service providers as needed. *Project management of the restoration of significant Public Art works held in the collections of several Local Government bodies across the Greater City of Melbourne, including the Cities of Dandenong and Hobsons Bay. *Vast experience working with private collectors, commercial and public galleries and museums, liaising in close contact with artists, curators and other staff and stakeholders actively involved with collection management, including documentation, storage, preservation and presentation of art and museum objects. Public galleries and museums include Melbourne Museum, ACMI, Heidi Museum of Art. *Current and on going art practice working in Public Spaces, works held in Public collections include of several Local Government bodies including, the Cities of Melbourne, Maribyrnong and Moreland. *Most recently, 2020, contracted to project manage the restoration of several contemporary public art works and monuments held in the collection of the City of Ballarat. Works varied in materials, conservation and repair works required, requiring the engagement of many specialist trades and services.
