As Global Head of Credit Technology I was responsible for strategy, design and implementation of front office technology including global-scale eTrading, Trade Processing and Risk & PnL. I had additional responsibility for Athena Trade & Risk Services across Markets and supported a combined organisation of 550+ engineers and over $100m in managed budget. Throughout my time in this role I supported teams delivering complex, strategic and high-impact projects including a full re-engineering of the Spread eTrading and Risk platforms.
I was a Director at Citi and Global Head of FX eTrading Technology, part of the Markets and Securities Services Technology organisation. In this role I was responsible for the pricing, trading and automated risk management platforms for FX and local markets Rates products, where Citi is the market leader. My team was directly integrated with the trading desk and quants and delivers technology covering the major liquid instruments such as FX spot, forwards, precious metals and NDF. My responsibilities extended to all aspects of electronic trading, from market connectivity, co-lo infrastructure and KDB data capture to pricing models, hedging and algorithmic execution. The liquidity provided by the FX eTrading platform is distributed to a wide range of venues such as client API, ECN's, multi-bank platforms and Citi's own single-dealer trading platform - Velocity
