Projects: - Canberra Light Rail - Stage 2A Augmentation - Prospect Pre-treatment Plant - Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) - Parramatta Light Rail - Stage 2A - Parramatta Light Rail - Stage 1 - Post Portion Completion Support
Portion 1 – Westmead Terminus to Parramatta CBD to James Ruse Drive Bridge: - Review all Construction Phase Support (CPS) requests from the PCPLR Construction Team in relation to Design Queries, Clarifications & Shop Drawings - Respond to all Requests for Support (RFS) with either providing direct responses from AFC Certified Design Documentation, solutions from Design AEOs or expected timeframes for Technical Clarification Responses - Coordinate all Technical Clarifications with the Design AEOs whether they be related directly to Design or Urban Design Finishes/Landscaping/DDA Compliance related - Review, monitor and evaluate the work of designers allocated to the project to ensure that their progress meets the SPR requirements while addressing all Design Package Delivery Phase comments as the design develops - Assist in the design approval process by coordinating issue resolution between the Design Team and Construction, Service & Operations (SOM), Independent Ceritifier, RMS, TfNSW as well as all external stakeholders impacted by PLR - Assist with client and stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively with the project’s Design & Construction teams in addressing specific project SPR requirements to achieve the best for project outcomes - Run workshops between designers, construction team and authorities to best integrate all designs in a coordinated approach while remaining compliant to the project’s contract and SPR - Provide concept technical solutions to resolve complex issues with Design Development against Existing Conditions, Interface Requirements and Contractual Constraints. - Participate in all design work, clash checking, and space proofing by the design team to provide direction when there are actions to be taken to proceed with Design Development - Operate within the project budget, monitor design delivery cost reviews and develop strategies and recommendations to achieve the project’s vision and goals
Civil Roadworks & Stormwater: - Old Castle Hill Road: Upgrade of Southern Side of Road to allow for Kiss & Ride passenger drop off for the future Castle Hill Station - Old Northern Road: Upgrade of entire road to a Bus Terminal with 2x Bus Bays on each Westbound/Eastbound Carriageway to service passengers to Castle Hill Station - Stormwater Drainage: Precast Pit & Pipe Excavation, Installation & Backfill to facilitate Roadworks Precinct Structures: - OSD Tank - Excavation of Underground In-situ Concrete Stormwater Detention & Rainwater Tank - Retaining Walls - 5x Packages of both Precast & In-situ Concrete Retaining Wall Structures Landscaping: - Backfill over Castle Hill Station Precast & In-situ Concrete Structure to underside of Landscaping - Placement of Landscape Topsoil, Trees, Mass Planting, Turf to Upgrade Arthur Whitling Park and surrounding Road Works above the Underground Castle Hill Station - Footpath Construction through Arthur Whitling Park & Station Precinct - Installation of Road, Landscape & Station Precinct Furniture including Benches, Playground, Fountains, Concrete Benches, Heritage Items & Public Art
Southern Zone Structures: - 3x Box Cell Drainage Culverts (2x single cell, 1x triple cell) - 2x Overpass Super T Girder Bridges (2 lane road) - 5x Mainline Plank Bridges (1x 5 span expansion joint, 2x single span semi-integral, 1x 9 span expansion joint and 1x 3 span semi-integral for a 4 lane highway) - 1x Local Farm Bridge - Single Span Steel I-Beam Bridge
