-Provide weight and stability support for CVNs to NAVSEA 05V and the Technical Warrant Holder for Weight Control and Stability.
-Naval Architect for maintenance availabilities of United States Navy ships. Primarily on large deck surface ships such as WASP class amphibious assault ships and NIMITZ class aircraft carriers. Other work includes support work for nuclear submarines. -Responsibilities include maintaining and updating drawings for amphibious assault ships and aircraft carriers, prepare and check job summaries, task group instructions, waterfront support, ; including weight stability evaluations, drydocking calculations, inclining experiments, systems engineering, and emergent work for United States Navy ships as needed. -Lead naval architect on two docking and undocking evolutions. -Supported Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in undocking the historical ship CASSIN YOUNG in Boston, MA.
Intern for 15 weeks in Washington, DC. Actively supported MSC ships during that time. Work included structural drawing creation, trim and stability books, and supported a MSC availability in Charleston, SC.
