I am a passionate and driven associate at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the UK's regulatory body for the financial services industry. I have a strong interest in financial law, having graduated with a Master of Laws (LLM) degree specialising in International Financial Law at King's College London, one of the world's leading universities. My mission is to contribute to the FCA's vision of ensuring fair and transparent markets, protecting consumers, and promoting competition and innovation. At the FCA, I work in the Investments, Legal Division, Regulatory and Corporate Legal team, where I provide legal advice and support on various regulatory and corporate matters, such as policy development, rule-making, and stakeholder engagement. I enjoy working with a diverse and collaborative team of lawyers, regulators, and experts, and I am always eager to learn from their insights and experiences. I am fluent in English, Mandarin and Malay.

I specialised in civil and commercial litigation involving contractual disputes, tortious claims (e.g. negligence and defamation), breach of director’s and fiduciary duties, housing development matters, aviation disputes, winding up proceedings and etc. I had appeared in all levels of the Malaysian courts. My areas of practice also include arbitration.
