About

BSc (Hons) in Software Development at Munster Technological University. Ex- software engineering intern at ST Engineering iDirect, a global leader in satellite communications. There, I contribute to CI/CD development, modernized legacy C++ codebases using static analysis tools, and developed Python-based automation tools—all within a fast-paced Agile environment. Prior to this, I studied Computer Science at Griffith College Cork and gained valuable people and stress-management skills as a dedicated waiter at The Royal Palace. In this high-pressure hospitality role, I learned to navigate team coordination, problem-solving, and customer service—skills I’ve found surprisingly transferable to technical environments where communication, reliability, and fast adaptation are essential. My technical focus lies in backend and systems development, with growing experience in CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Git, and Agile workflows. I am especially passionate about how software can improve service-driven industries by boosting efficiency and delivering smarter, more intuitive systems.
