Working at Your Business Angels as a client coordinator saw me take on a variety of accounting and admin roles. Personally handling over 50 clients and their companies, I helped take care of their payroll, BAS/quarterly lodgements, tax obligations and general business guidance. Through the use of Xero and CS systems I monitored and advised on balance sheets & profit and loss documents, whilst keeping up contact KPIs. Working with the team to prepare financial documents and monitor client tax debts, I also helped review and discuss business planning options with the individuals while creating budgeting and financial management plans for them.
For a year I lived in Orlando Florida, working at Walt Disney World in the USA as an Attractions Host Cast Member at EPCOT. Assigned to Living with the Land and IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role required extensive face-to-face guest interaction and the execution of multiple safety-critical operational positions, including ride operations, crowd management, and emergency procedures. Consistently upheld Disney’s strict safety, service, and performance standards while engaging with a diverse international audience. Key contributions included managing guest flow during peak attendance periods, clearly communicating safety instructions, responding calmly to operational incidents, and supporting large-scale nighttime spectaculars. The role demanded strong situational awareness, teamwork, and professionalism while representing the Disney brand.
As a design student graduate looking to keep busy, I decided to put my skills to the test by creating a sticker company full of unique and interesting sticker designs. Designing, printing, cutting and packaging. With a successful website and having sold over 2000 sticker packs within a few months, this business venture has room to grow in the future.
