Hi! I am a professional with 10+ years of experience in leading sales teams for a wide variety of product segments-from Software Solutions (SAAS) to logistic services and paints. I started with ACC Limited in 2011 and trained under channel-sales veterans in various rural markets in India. I then lead my own team and managed channel sales for the company in U.P East. My most cherished learning from this experience was launching and driving penetration of the company’s new offering- ACC Gold in my geography. I was able to drive this product to 10% of total sales in first 3 months itself which was among the best in the country. :) In 2014, I moved to Asian Paints as Head of Home Solutions unit in Chandigarh. In this role, along with sales, I looked at all the facets of running a business (strategy, marketing, hiring, service, finance). As this was B2C sales, it helped me gain a deep understanding of how end-consumers work. I was able to grow the unit (more than 30%) and also expanded to new cities (Patiala and Jallandhar) in 2016. I then moved to a larger role within the company-Channel Sales and handled the strong network of retail dealers in one of the most competitive markets of Punjab. I ventured into B2B sales in 2017 and so far I am loving it! Started with leading the corporate sales team of FabHotels for 2 regions (North & East). My role required me to interact with senior leaders in the HR and Procurement teams of various organizations and pitch the FH’s Online Accommodation Platform. My fondest memory of this role is of building a sales team from scratch in Chandigarh and Jaipur. I then moved to Rivigo (a Tech Logistic Unicorn) in 2018 and lead the corporate-sales vertical in Karnataka for 3 major product verticals: FTL, PTL and Rivigo’s Freight Software platform. The best part-I was required to drive the company's business goals by establishing business relationships with C-level executives in various firms. For this, I had to uncover my client’s buying motivations and decision criteria through research and interactions and then use the insights to support my business recommendations or handle objections. Currently, I'm leading the LinkedIn's Enterprise partnerships in North & East India, Pakistan and Bangladesh for Talent Development solutions (LinkedIn Learning). Personally, I am an avid reader and like learning about productivity and lifestyle-hacks. I also like expressing myself through writing.
