Consulted HUL to strategize an alternate distribution network in deep rural markets in India. The challenge was to improve coverage of HUL in regions that are currently unpenetrated due to their dispersed locations, making it infeasible for distributors to earn minimum ROI. We built a business case for adoption of Sub-Stockist model. The proposed pilot led to a 50% increase in coverage along with decrease in cost of last mile delivery in identified regions.
