I am an entry-level Backend & API Developer with a strong foundation in Python, Flask, PostgreSQL, and REST-based backend development. I enjoy building reliable, modular systems, working with databases, and designing APIs that support real-world features and user workflows. Through my projects, I’ve worked on authentication, scheduling flows, data processing pipelines, and backend automation, with a focus on clean architecture, validation, and debugging. I’m continuously improving my skills in system design, Node.js/Express, and deployment-oriented workflows like Docker and CI/CD. I value consistency, ownership, and learning by building and I am actively looking for opportunities where I can contribute to backend development, strengthen my engineering mindset, and grow through hands-on, production-focused work.
Backend Engineering Intern • Worked on backend server development, APIs, and dashboard functionality for a second-hand truck selling platform. • Structured and normalized database schemas using Prisma and SQL to improve scalability and efficient data retrieval. • Reduced API fetch latency by 50ms and write latency by 30ms through caching, async processing, and backend optimization techniques. • Processed and validated hundreds of data points to maintain accuracy and consistency across platform records. • Collaborated with legal and development teams to ensure proper organization and placement of important documentation within the system. • Assisted in debugging website animation and UI-related issues to improve platform stability and user experience. • Worked with technologies including TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL, Prisma, CSS, and GitHub.
During my internship, I developed a series of Python projects focused on strengthening my problem-solving, programming logic, and practical software development skills. I built multiple console-based applications, including a calculator, palindrome checker, string reversal tool, temperature converter, email and password validation programs, number-guessing games, Fibonacci sequence generator, and file word-count automation. I also worked on more advanced projects such as a web-scraping script for extracting website content, a file-based data processing and automation tool, and a modular data visualization tool capable of generating scatter, line, bar, histogram, box, and correlation matrix plots using real datasets. These projects improved my understanding of Python programming concepts, regex, loops, functions, file handling, exception handling, data structures, and libraries such as Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, and BeautifulSoup. This experience helped me gain hands-on exposure to writing clean, structured, and functional code, while building real-world utilities that automate tasks, process data, and support analytical workflows.
