Responsible to build the team of Volunteers in order to properly staff the entire event, which asks for detailed coordination and clear communication with the other departments. I use channels like Instagram and Facebook to search, plan and recruit the team of Volunteers. To assign and manage the whole team i have to maintain good overview and structured planning and ensure live updates for all teams on a day-to-day basis. Moreover, I manage all logistics and administrative tasks for the volunteer daily work, training, safety, engagement. Lastly, I develop the recruitment campaign alongside the communication department and establish partnerships to secure benefits for the volunteers.
My responsibility is to set-up and manage the Volunteers department (+300volunteers and 1 intern) who staff the event for 10 days. I ensure the match between the programme needs and the skill-set/ profiles / availability of the different volunteers and establish the integrated planning for the various tasks of the Festival. This daily planning has to be maintained, updated and communicated anytime and accurately on day-to-day base. I search, reach and establish partnerships with different channels and platforms that could facilitate the recruitment of volunteers. Finally I manage sponsorships for their rewards and benefits, and a variety of logistic and administrative tasks to allow high team spirits and positive engagement.
