I am an Italian Ophthalmology Resident currently working as a Foreign Medical Resident at Hôpital Pitié-Salpêtrière in Paris. Passionate about combining clinical excellence, surgical training and academic research in ophthalmology, my training has involved clinical practice, academic research and international experience, with a strong interest in comprehensive ophthalmology, retinal diseases and ocular surgery. During my residency I am having the opportunity to work in different healthcare systems through clinical experiences in Italy, France and abroad, strengthening my ability to work in multidisciplinary and international environments. Alongside my clinical activity, I actively participate in research projects and scientific collaborations, with the goal of contributing to evidence-based ophthalmology while continuously improving patient care. I am planning to continue my professional career in France after completing my residency and I am always interested in connecting with colleagues, researchers and institutions in ophthalmology.

Le service est reconnu notamment pour son expertise en inflammations oculaires, neuro-ophtalmologie et chirurgie orbito-palpébrale, associant activité clinique spécialisée, chirurgie et recherche académique. 🇬🇧 Happy to join the Ophthalmology Department at Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital in Paris as a resident within Prof. Bodaghi’s team. The department is particularly recognized for its expertise in ocular inflammation, neuro-ophthalmology, and orbital and oculoplastic surgery, combining specialized clinical care, surgery, and academic research. My activity focuses on: • Outpatient consultations in medical ophthalmology. • Management of patients with retinal and inflammatory ocular diseases. • Participation in multidisciplinary care pathways for complex ophthalmic conditions. • Collaboration in clinical research projects and scientific publications. • Participation in teaching activities and departmental meetings.
• Comprehensive ophthalmology clinics. • Emergency ophthalmology. • Cataract, anterior segment surgery and oculoplastics training. • Diagnostic imaging (OCT, fluorescein angiography, visual field testing). • Medical and surgical retina, glaucoma and cornea / anterior segment clinics.
