I’m an enthusiastic, conscientious, and objective-driven Rare Tumors Brand Lead at Merck Healthcare Italy in Rome. I joined Merck in 2022 as an intern in Inhouse Consulting and the CEO Office, supporting the participation of the Chair of the Executive Board and CEO at the World Economic Forum and the Munich Security Conference. In 2023, I became an Associate in the Inhouse Consulting Global Graduate Program, where I worked in Germany, Italy, and Singapore on a variety of projects across the Healthcare, Life Science, and Electronics sectors, ranging from strategy and business development to supply chain, marketing, and R&D. I hold an MPhil in Chemistry from the University of Cambridge in the UK, where I focused on studying neurodegenerative disorders, and a PhD in Biochemistry from the Institut Pasteur in Paris, where I worked on chemically modified nucleotides and aptamers against antibiotic resistance. In parallel, I’ve developed my business skills at the Cambridge Judge Business School and ESCP. My strong passion for innovation at the interface between science and business led me to participate in the Global Biotech Revolution Excellerator 2023, Merck Innovation Cup 2022, FT Talent x Made in Italy 2022, and to become a McKinsey Next Generation Woman Leader in 2019 and a GapSummit Leader of Tomorrow in 2020. Moreover, I've been listed as one of the 10 most promising professionals under 35 in Healthcare and Life Sciences by Nova Talent Italy as part of the Nova 111 List 2023. My intention to actively bridge the gap between the scientific community and the general public led me to co-found Piplettes, a free online magazine for science communication in French and English managed by PhD students from the Institut Pasteur. Feel free to connect with me if you are passionate about the Healthcare and Biotech industries; I'm always looking forward to interesting discussions and innovative opportunities!
