I am a Technology Consultant based out of Chicago. I have a total of 4 years of work experience, a Master's degree in Information Systems (MSIS) from Kelley School of Business, Indiana University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Pune University, India. In the last two years in consulting, I have had the opportunity to work with several clients in the Financial Services (FSI) space in large-scale implementation, technology modernization and data management projects. Currently, I work as a Solution Architect Lead for a Big Data Integration project. Before pursuing my Master's degree, I worked with an insurance firm, as a technical analyst for its international businesses in Brazil and Chile. My work primarily involved development of Java enterprise applications in order to foster its core businesses in insurance and mutual fund products. On the job, I got several opportunities to build and hone technical, analytical and communication skills. Additionally, I developed domain skills in finance and business of insurance industries. I have always been extremely passionate about business and technology which motivated me to pursue a career that let me leverage the power of technology to solve business problems and bridge the gap that exists between them. Working as a software developer, getting a graduate degree in MSIS and subsequently working in a consulting firm has given me several opportunities to develop the breadth and depth of skills in both business and technology.
