Dr. Ch. Aswani Kumar is Director for Centre For Artificial Intelligence Research (C-FAIR), Professor (HAG) of School of Computer Science Engineering and Information Systems, Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, India. Aswani Kumar research interests are Information Security and Machine learning. He published more than 190 refereed research papers so far in various national, international journals and conferences. He received Young Scientist Fellowship from Tamilnadu State Council for Science and Technology for his research at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Bombay. He was the principal investigator to a major research project funded by Dept of Science and technology, Govt of India under Cognitive Science Research Initiative Program during 2015-19. He was the Principal Investigator of a major research project sponsored by Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) Govt of India under SPARC Program during 2019-2023. Dr. Aswani Kumar is a Senior member of ACM and a senior member of IEEE and is associated with other professional bodies including ISC, CSI, ISTE, IACSIT. He is reviewer for many reputed international journals and conferences. He is editorial board member for several international journals. He is a distinguished speaker in ACM eminent speakers program.
