I’m a seasoned digital creative with over 13 years of experience in fashion and creative agencies. I specialize in crafting engaging, memorable, and personalized immersive experiences that fuel brand growth. I’m also passionate about AI, constantly exploring how its innovations can elevate every project I undertake. FOR STORY LOVERS: Deep in the southern heart of China, in a city known by the name of Fuzhou, lived a young boy, JIE CHEN, an imagination even bigger than anything his mind could conceive. Drawn to everything that touched design and the visual elements of life from fashion to art, Jie drove his passion from grade-school drawings to diplomas. He graduated from Willem de Kooning Academy, at the University of Rotterdam in 2009. With a BA in Communication & Multimedia design, he was now equipped to embark on the journey of his career. He laced his work with passion, precision and joy. As a natural communicator, his path very quickly led him to become the digital designer for a large marketing and communications company – Havas Worldwide (formerly Euro RSCG 4D). Following the leaps and bounds of the digital world, he merged conceptualization and visual interface design to give his clients truly seamless user experiences. After a number of years in the digital design sphere, Jie turned to combine his expertise to a previously dormant passion: Fashion. He took off for SUITSUPPLY, the international menswear brand, where he directed the brand’s creative digital agenda. In 2015, Jie took the next step on his path: a career as digital creative for TOMMY HILFIGER, where he took on fresh challenges, from a global eCommerce platform to the Runway show. - Worked as the digital art director in the brands' internal creative agency. Concepted and implemented content for new global digital campaigns. - Liaised with the Social Media team, eCom and CRM to create a cross-platform digital brand identity across Tommy.com, CRM newsletters, social media, digital advertising and 3rd party retailers. - Worked as the agency art director for the seasonal runway show. Collaborated with internal teams to create and execute a show-themed content plan, creating assets that gathered millions of impressions from the teaser phase through to the post-show period. - Oversaw runway show assets from talent, influencers and external agencies, and ensured all digital assets aligned with the show identity. - Special projects: Concepted and art-directed annual Lunar New Year project, targeted to APAC consumers. Oversaw production teams. - Optimised the customers' user experience by improving the design of Tommy.com. - As brand guardian, managed and oversaw work from designers, freelancers, and external agencies.
