About

As the CEO and head of engineering at Vilota, a startup that makes visual perception more accessible to robotics developers, by producing perception systems that solve localization and obstacle detection challenges. I lead a team of talented and passionate engineers and researchers who share my vision of bringing cutting-edge technologies from laboratories to marketable products. I have a Master of Computing degree in artificial intelligence from the National University of Singapore, where I specialized in 3D vision, visual-SLAM, and sensor fusion. With more than five years of experience in building and testing autonomous aerial vehicles and embedded Linux drivers and applications, I have acquired strong skills in ROS, Linux development, and computer vision. I have also won several awards and honors for my projects, such as the third prize for the UAV Challenge 2014 in Thailand and the second prize in the National Olympiad in Informatics. I love teaching and mentoring others, and I have been a staff supervisor for the NUS RoboMaster team for two academic years. I am always eager to learn new things and interact with new people, and I have diverse interests in life. Happy to meet you!
